I have a friend, PX. She has a boyfriend, PY. The boyfriend, PY, has a NASTY baby momma, PZ.
Before PX and PY were together, and had their own baby, PY and PZ had a baby, who is now three years old. PZ has been making PY pay child support...but get this: PZ refuses to let PY see their son! PZ has been causing all sorts of drama for PY, and INADVERTENTLY causing some for my friend, PX.
PX has never spoken to PZ in the two years she's been with PY, except for once, recently...
PX sent PZ a facebook message (I SERIOUSLY now have a fear of those dreaded things) asking if her daughter will ever get to meet her brother. Just simply asking. From one mom to another. PZ replied with all sorts of 'TUDE and trash talk. After a few exchanges, PZ wrote something along the lines of "stop talking to me or I'm going to the cops." PX replied saying that she was going to honor PZ's request.
Two days later, PY's mother contacted PX informing her that PZ had filed a protective order against PX. There isn't any viable reason that PZ would need to get a protective order. PX has enough on her plate being a mom of three girls and a full-time job. Having this protective order on her record could prevent her from future employment (she's an RN).
So what should my friend, PX, do? She's attending the hearing this Thursday and she's going to refute it, and, if need be counter with her own lawsuit for defamation of character. But this is just all ridiculous. Is there anything PX can do?
